A sketch from a photograph I took just downstream of the dam on Lake Olathe a couple weeks ago. It’s not perfect, I was just kind of playing with it.

If you like it, you can buy something with this design.

What else would be funny in the bathtub?

Why do illustrators always draw these old-fashioned claw-footed bathtubs, even though no house built in the last half century actually has them? Well, just think what a modern bathtub looks like. A basin inside a box that fits flush to the walls. It’s not curvy or fun in the least. Boring. Claw-footed tubs are much more fun to draw.
Yeah, I know. I forgot the faucet.
Actually, I didn’t forget so much as chose not to draw it because A. I don’t really like how it looks, B. I thought it would distract from the bubbles, and C. I didn’t think it was necessary to convey the idea. 🙂
Something a little different today. 🙂

When I went on vacation, the IF topic was carry. I didn’t actually post anything for that week, but (sitting in the passenger seat driving through Wisconsin) I did make a sketch for it. It’s not finished, but I thought I’d share it anyway. So, here you go.

It rained today. In honor of that, I sketched this. The pavement was dry again before I was halfway through.

I’ve decided to do a hidden picture and send it off to High Five Magazine. This is the sketch. I’ve sketched in 7 hidden things. I want to have one or two more before I’m finished.

This is what came out of my pen today. Not sure why. But, here you go. A random sketch. Have a nice day. 🙂
