This was a request from ladyspock7 who frequently reblogs my stuff on tumblr. She wanted an owl. She did not specify in what state. I hope this works. 😉

I think I finally got the website finished like I want it. New logo, new theme, same me. Take a look around and let me know what you think.
I’m working on updating my website and all my social media. Everything’s going to go with this new logo.

What do you think?
My name is using my Big Bottom Cartoon font (Available for free!) and “Illustrator” is using the Amery font.
I’ll be putting it up on everything soon!
So, to make up for no image for illustration Friday last week, I give you two this week. This one’s a little more happy. Well, unless you’re the worm. Then it’s scary. 🙂

Happy Halloween, everyone. I’m sure this idea has been done before. It just seems too obvious to be original. But, anyhow, here’s my version.

Here’s a pastel version of the sheep image I posted yesterday. I really liked playing with the hash marks all being the same direction as the lines on the rays of the sun. Technically, the sun’s behind the sheep. It should be back-lit. But that didn’t work so well with the hash marks. I may do a watercolor version with it backlit and see how that looks. But, anyhow, here’s today’s sheep.

And here’s a version without the radius lines.

Or make it really simple and remove the sun entirely. Then I don’t have the problem w/ the inconsistent light source.

Of course, it’s VERY pastel. Maybe bolder lines and a brighter green?

I went and updated my website today. I added a few images to my online portfolio. Nothing big. When I added a note to the “What’s New” page for what I changed, I realized it’s been MONTHS since I touched the website at all. Like, six months. Geez. I need to do better than that. Not that I haven’t been doing stuff, but nothing’s gone on the website. So, anyway, I fixed that today at least. 🙂
