Zooming

Here’s what I think is going to be the last in the portfolio series I’ve been working on.  This is a very current scene.  Our girl is participating in a zoom conference with her peers.  Perhaps in an online class or study group?  I don’t think she’s sick, but she is isolated in her home, away from her friends.

Rocket Relief Grant for KC Area Artists

I wanted to post this link I came across.  It’s a grant for Kansas City area artists who have suffered income loss due to the pandemic.  Just in case it would be useful to anyone…

COVID-19 Update

This is certainly a scary time for so many people.  My heart goes out to everyone who’s been touched by this disease, and I hope that everyone reading this is safe and healthy.

Like all Kansans, I’m currently under stay-at-home orders, but everyone in my household is fine.  My husband and I are both working from home, and we’re taking the recommended precautions the few times we do venture out in public.  Since I normally work out of a home studio, nothing significant has changed in regards to my work process.   I’m still taking commissions.

As always, if you have something for me to draw, I’d love to hear from you.

Stay safe.

Coronavirus Illustration

Today I drew an illustration of the novel coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2). This is the virus that causes COVID-19 (Coronavirus Disease 2019). It is depicted both free-floating and within a water droplet. Both isolated.

I’m putting it up on my Shutterstock account.  Should be available in a few days.  Or you can contact me directly.
