Here’s a personal piece I just finished. I’ve been playing Dungeons & Dragons with my family and I think it’s sad how orcs are depicted as just a bunch of mindlessly aggressive monsters. They have families, right? They must. So, here’s a candid portrait of an orc dad and his offspring.
I was thinking about the Monster High idea. This is Monster Middle School, I think. A private school, by the looks of those plaid skirts. I tried to draw them with goat legs and cloven hooves, but I was having trouble making them look cute that way, so they got standard human legs instead. The saddleshoes were fun to draw.
Does anyone else think bare feet are fun to draw?
