Here’s an image for page 14 of a safety-themed coloring book commissioned by Positive Promotions.  This page covers bullying.  A boy is picking up his books, presumably after some bullies knocked them onto the floor.  Probably the same boys that are smirking at him from the other side of the room.  But, luckily for him, a friend has stopped to help him pick up his books.  Isn’t that nice?

Here’s an image for page 13 of a safety-themed coloring book commissioned by Positive Promotions.  This is the, “Say, ‘no,’ to drugs,” page.  So a girl is politely refusing a cigarette another girl is offering her.  And there’s beer, tobacco, and pills in the, “No,” symbol below.

Here’s an image for page 11 of a safety-themed coloring book commissioned by Positive Promotions.  Why is it so much fun to draw children behaving badly?  In this case, we have a girl (accidentally) kicking a boy that walked too close to the swings, a boy pushing in front of the line, and two boys horsing around and playing too rough.

Here’s an image for page 10 of a safety-themed coloring book commissioned by Positive Promotions.  This one covers the subject of stranger danger.  While there may very well be nothing nefarious at all about this friendly man in his unmarked panel van, it’s suspicious and he could be dangerous.  Better for the kids to stay away and not risk it.

Here’s an image for page 9 of a safety-themed coloring book commissioned by Positive Promotions.  This one is my favorite.  It’s a maze with various locations in the neighborhood.  There’s the library, post office, a park, grocery store, and elementary school.  There’s also a little line of traffic.  You’re supposed to get the girls to school.

I just noticed I messed up the girl’s feet a little.  The angle I drew them at doesn’t match the angle of the sidewalk.  😦
