I finished this one today. Page 15 of a picture book commission I’m working on.

I’ve been a bit quiet here for awhile. First I was out of town for a summer vacation. Then I dived right into a new project as soon as I got back. Here’s a couple pages from a new picture book commission I’ve been working on.

Another recent commission.

There’s also a weeping angel, just because. So, don’t blink.
A recent commission for a friend. The Cave of Caerbannog from Monte Python’s Quest for the Holy Grail.

Here’s an illustration of mine that’s in the November issue of 435 Magazine.

Some drinks drawn for Hart McLeod for a Kazakh textbook.

Here’s a spot illustration for the September issue of 435 Magazine. A ratty cardboard box containing a tangle of cords and old electronics and a Lego boat.

Here’s a spot illustration I did for the August issue of 435 Magazine. They were looking for something similar to a Fancy Nancy style.

Actually, this is version 2. In version 1, they wanted her to be holding a cap gun, the reason for which makes sense when you read the article. So, they had me change it.
Here’s the original:
And here’s the tear sheet:

I can’t remember if I posted this yet. Another Hart McLeod one for a third grade textbook. This one was supposed to be an intentionally vague, wordless comic strip. The student is supposed to write a story explaining what frightened the stick-man.
So, what do YOU think happened in this strip?
