Safety Book – Interior Image – Page 3, Image 3

Here’s 3 of 4 images for page three of a safety-themed coloring book commissioned by Positive Promotions.  This page is showing four situations where you should call 911.  This one shows a girl trying to shake awake her grandfather who doesn’t seem able to wake up.  He needs help!

Here’s 2 of 4 images for page three of a safety-themed coloring book commissioned by Positive Promotions.  This page is showing four situations where you should call 911.  This one shows a crime happening.  Someone’s just snatched that backpack from the woman on the trail.

This illustration was originally supposed to be a purse rather than a backpack, but they switched it to a backpack in the first round of revisions.  For some reason I rather enjoy drawing backpacks.  I always draw them as this leather-bottom Jansport kind like I had when I was in high school.  🙂

Safety Book – Interior Image – Page 2

Here’s an image for page two of a safety-themed coloring book commissioned by Positive Promotions.  A girl explains to her little brother that they live at 731 Fisher Road.  The mailbox and house both have the numbers 731 on them and the street sign at the corner shows their street is called Fisher Road.  The illustration shows how addresses work.

Here’s an image for page one of a safety-themed coloring book commissioned by Positive Promotions.  A bunch of kids playing safely in their front yards.  I tried to include a couple of kids playing street hockey because my youngest is a hockey girl, but they didn’t want to encourage kids playing in the street.  😦  Oh well.  So long as the client’s happy.  🙂

Recycling Book – Random Objects

Here’s a collection of random objects and an owl that appear on various pages in a coloring book about recycling commissioned by Positive Promotions for Earth Day.  I’m particularly proud of that compact florescent light bulb in the corner there.  The twisty coil was tricky.

This is the last sample I have for this project.  Next up will be a coloring book on neighborhood safety, also for Positive Promotions.
