I’m probably not the first one that’s made this connection, but I thought I’d whip this up real fast. Using both twitter’s old and new logos.

Or is it better flipped?

a.k.a. Don’t litter the sky!
Here’s an illustration of a girl with a pocket knife preparing to cut a duck loose from a balloon string it’s tangled in.
When you release a helium balloon into the sky, you’re actually littering. That balloon has to come down somewhere and many times it causes trouble for wildlife when it does. Animals often try to eat it and can get choked or tangled in the process. It can kill them.

I think I’ll post some sketches. Here’s one I drew today between turns in a game of Dungeons and Dragons with my husband and daughters.

Here’s page 7 from My Treehouse, a short graded reader I recently illustrated for Learning A-Z. A cropped version of this image is also used on the title page.

Inktober #11
This was a request from ladyspock7 who frequently reblogs my stuff on tumblr. She wanted an owl. She did not specify in what state. I hope this works. 😉

Inktober #4

I took this picture the other day. I really need to remember to use a tripod with my big zoom lens. I took tons of shots, but every one had a bit of motion blur in it. This was the best of the lot. The robin hopped up pretty close to me.
