Here’s an illustration for chapter 7 of Paul Maguire’s book The Genie Loophole. It’s the only one that does not include the main character. The special effects were fun to do.

Illustration for Chapter 9
Here’s an illustration I completed a few days ago for Paul Maguire’s book The Genie Loophole.

New Project
I’ve been quiet here lately. Sorry about that. I’ve been working on a new project. I’m illustrating Paul Maguire’s new children’s book The Genie Loophole. Here’s a background for one of the illustrations I’m working on today. I was playing with a distorted three point perspective. Fun.

Last Page!
And I’m done!
Here’s the last page of my current picture book project. This is the “The End” page.

On a related note, I am accepting commissions again. Please contact me for more information.

The latest spread from my current picture book commission. I hope I made the white turkey look suitably soft and fluffy. 🙂
I only have one more image to go. This has been such a fun project to work on!

Here’s page 8. Three cute wild animal families. 🙂

Pages 12 and 13
Here’s another full-page spread for my current picture book commission. Turkeys, rabbits, deer, and an owl. No coyotes.

A two-page spread from my current picture book commission.
Here’s all the characters except the coyotes. Wild turkey babies are splochy like this when they’re really little. It hides them in the grass and underbrush. I draw them differently later in the book because they’re older then. The white one is an albino and is worried because, since he’s white, he can’t hide like the others.

I think this is the last one with a coyote in it. Five more to go, I think.

“Run away! Run away!”
