He’s worn a rut in the yard with all that pacing.
I realized I’ve never posted any realistic portraits of people to this blog. So, I created this just to show I can. It’s a portrait of my daughter Katie. It’s drawn in Photoshop using a photo I took a few weeks ago as reference. This is an actual digital drawing, not a Photoshop filter trick.
It also counts for this week’s Illustration Friday prompt of Children. Well, child, anyway.

It’s spring. So, I poked around under the tall grass in the corner of the yard. And, sure enough, look what I found! A baby hare. 

I plan to enter this in the Sunflower Art Fest contest.
Edit: This image has been accepted into the Sunflower Art Fest contest. It will be on displayed during the festival in De Soto, Kansas July 12th to the 14th.
