I think this is going to be my holiday card image this year.
I just posted a brand new holiday card to my Zazzle store. It’s my house vectorized and with Christmas lights. And I have a coupon code for 60% off cards, among other things. Good until midnight on Monday, Dec 3rd Friday, Dec 7th. Use ZCYBRMONDAY2 DECKTHEHALLS at checkout.
We’ve been ice skating a lot this year, so I drew this.

Okay, personally, I think the idea of an elf on the shelf is just super-creepy. Creepier than the idea that one old man knows when you’re sleeping and when you’re awake. I mean, it’s an apparently inanimate object that’s spying on you all day and then going off to report on you at night. How is that not creepy?
But, here you go. A perfectly nice, ordinary, non-creepy, elf spy on the shelf.

Yeah, I know. It’s not even Thanksgiving yet. But if I’m going to get my Christmas cards printed in time, I have to design them about now. So, here’s my Christmas card design for the year.

I think this will be next year’s Christmas card. I was playing with HDR again. Real HDR, not HDR-style. The image didn’t really need HDR, but… eh. I like how it turned out, though I haven’t printed it, so it may need some adjustments still.
I love the spot healing brush tool in Photoshop, because after several days, the snow I used wasn’t perfectly clean. Also, when you set a candy cane in the snow, it starts bleeding red into the snow. So, I had to correct that as well.
And here’s another one.
Just a quick sketch for the holidays.
Well, Thanksgiving’s over. So, it must be time for Santa!
This might be my Christmas card design this year.
Or does it look better with more painterly colors?
I made some cards and things with this design.
